Home Assistant notes
Not owned — un-rated. The most consistently reported 'it actually works' Zigbee deadbolt in the HA community; pairs to a generic Zigbee coordinator (ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT) for local lock/unlock and PIN management. Buy the Zigbee SKU (99140-031) — Kwikset also sells Z-Wave and Wi-Fi 914 variants. Caveats: as a sleepy battery lock it needs a nearby Zigbee router and can be finicky; ZHA users report a lock-state refresh quirk, and battery percentage can take up to a day to report.
